The 33rd Year Manifesto
I am no longer the girl who hoped people would change.
I am the woman who knows that real love doesn’t require begging, proving, or shrinking.
I do not need to go back to who I used to be.
She was strong, yes—but she was surviving, not thriving.
She tolerated too much. She held in too many screams.
She thought love meant pain.
Now I know: Love is not supposed to confuse me. It’s supposed to meet me.
At 33, I’m not asking for perfection.
But I am requiring peace.
I will no longer accept chaos wrapped in apologies.
No more emotional gymnastics just to keep someone close.
A sacred declaration for the woman who knows better now.
I am no longer afraid of letting go.
If I have to lose someone to find myself,
then that loss is my freedom.
This year, I choose:
• My peace over proving anything.
• My sanity over being understood by the wrong person.
• My healing, even if it makes others uncomfortable.
Let it be known:
This is the year I stop surviving love and start demanding reciprocity.
This is the year I trust myself louder than the noise.
This is the year I reclaim everything I gave away in the name of “understanding.”
If it costs me my clarity, it’s too expensive.
If it makes me doubt myself, it’s too toxic.
If it feels like a cycle, it’s already broken.
I am a woman rising from betrayal.
I am a woman no longer begging for softness from those who don’t know how to hold anything they didn’t break.
I am 33. And I am just getting started.
